The customer has received great interest in their website with sales surpassing expectations. Such growth requires extra storage, so a new warehouse was opened. The easiest and safest way to move goods between floors in a warehouse is of course with a goods lift. In order to maximize space to the fullest, the warehouse has 3 mezzanine levels. The customer was so pleased with the final product and fantastic installation that they have said they will be ordering another lift in 2024 for another project.
The Escorta is a goods lift with attendant which allows for a trained operative to travel between floors with the goods which is certified under the machinery directive. This is an adapted version of the Sherpa goods only lift with additional safety features as well as windows, internal controls and cabin lights.
This lift has 4 stops and a 12 meter travel, with a speed of 0.15 meters per second. Operators having the ability to ride with the goods saves a lot of time as there is no requirement for staff members to climb the stairs to unload the lift at the landing floor.
