Lödige has installed four new commercial goods lifts for a UK nationwide furniture company in their warehouse, to ensure safe handling, efficiency, and productivity.
Lödge has been working with this nationwide company to ensure that they have energy-efficient and reliable goods lifts to meet the needs of one of their warehouses. This company has over 170 stores across the UK selling over 50,000 different products across a wide range of categories, varying in size, shape, and weight. It also has its own UK factory for household fittings such as curtains and blinds.
With an operation of this size, ensuring productivity is essential, which is why both reliability and safety were key reasons behind the installation of these new goods lifts. The SHERPA lifts can transport goods weighing up to 2600kg across 4 floors, accelerating goods transportation, minimising manual handling, and speeding up logistics at the warehouse as a whole. They were also provided with faster-than-normal motors ensuring even greater efficiency.
Our years of experience meant we were able to install the goods lifts with minimal disruption to the business of the warehouse. The same customer has also recently ordered another 4 large Sherpa goods lifts for another of their warehouses.
